Meet the Founders

Sam Polakoff and Larry Garnett had a vision for an unrivaled weekend festival to celebrate creativity. This vision became the Chesapeake Regional Authors & Artists Festival (CRAA Fest), a three-day event to be held each spring, featuring regional talents and fun activities for all ages.

DEDICATED INDIVIDUALS

The Chesapeake Regional Authors and Artists Festival (CRAA Fest) Executive Committee is made up of a diverse group of authors and artists, including the event founders. Executive Committee members bring experience in event management, publishing, and business, as well as in writing and creating art.
