Ezra Berger

ARTIST/MURALIST

Ezra’s art combines many different styles using impressionism, surrealism, absurdism but the artist always has considered himself a narrative painter most all, for there is almost always a story or idea being conveyed in the work. There is an element of whimsy and fun to the artwork. With the use of bold colors, a shallow depth of field and bold colorful images Ezra creates a unique way at looking at the world.

Jean Burgess

AUTHOR

I’m Jean Burgess, your Retro Writer. I’m a playwright, editor, workshop presenter, and author of fiction set in Retro time periods (1970s and 80s). My purpose in writing is to be of use to my readers and to start conversations. These are my hopes. Perhaps these goals are directly related to my 23 years of teaching college and secondary theater courses. You know what they say, “Once a teacher, always a teacher.” These days my writing goals lean less toward instruction and more toward facilitation. I prefer to share a moment, an experience, even a disagreement. I’m working on speaking authentically and listening actively.

Mary Tilghman

AUTHOR

I love to write stories about characters who don’t quite have the faith in themselves that they need. Faced with a challenge, they set out, never quite believing, on a journey of discovery. They may find love. They may find the answer to a problem. But always, they find happiness, confidence, family. I give these stories to you as an escape in troubled times. Enjoy the journey.
